Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean Stud is a new and exciting game that is easy to learn and fun to experience. It appeals to all players - beginners, high stakes players and small bettors.

Caribbean Stud is based upon the card rankings of five card stud poker, except that players bet against the house instead of each other. Players place initial wagers within the "ante" betting area of the table. All "ante" wagers must be made prior to the dealer announcing, "No more wagers."

Each player receives five cards face down and the dealer receives four cards face down and one card face up. After looking at their hands, players decide whether to experience or fold.

  • If they decide to experience, the players must place a bet with the "Bet" betting area of the table. The "Bet" wager must be exactly twice the "ante" wager.
  • If they decide to fold, the players forfeit the "ante" wager.

After all players have made their decisions whether to bet or fold, the dealer reveals the remaining four cards. The dealer must "qualify" to experience by receiving a poker hand of Ace/King or higher.

  • If the dealer's hand qualifies, the dealer compares his cards to the player's cards. If the player's hand is higher within rank than the dealer's hand, the "ante" wager will be paid even money (1 to 1) and the "bet" wager will be paid as follows:
One pair or less 1 to 1
    Two pair 2 to 1
    Three-of-a-kind 3 to 1
    Straight 4 to 1
    Flush 5 to 1
    Full House 7 to 1
    Four-of-a-kind 20 to 1
    Straight Flush 50 to 1
    Royal Flush 100 to 1
The maximum payout with each "bet" wager for any hand is $5,000.
  • If the dealer's hand does not qualify, all "ante" wagers are paid even money ( 1 to 1) and all "bet" wagers "push" (no action is taken with the "bet" wager.)
  • If the dealer's hand and the player's hand "tie" (all five cards are identical within rank - suits are not considered), the "ante" and "bet" wagers are both pushes, no action taken.

within addition to the table experience, there is an optional progressive payout feature. After making the "ante" bet, a player may deposit a $1.00 gaming chip into the designated acceptor device or slot within the table, within front of the betting position. This bet gives the player a chance at the amount with the progressive payout meter, regardless of the dealer’s hand. If the player has a progressive payout hand and has deposited $1.00 within the slot, the payouts are as follows:

Royal Flush 100% of the progressive payout
Straight Flush 10% of the progressive payout
Four-of-a-kind $500
Full House $100
Flush $50

Winning progressive payout hands shall be paid within accordance on the amount with the meter when it is the player’s turn to be paid. However, if more than one player at a table has a royal flush progressive payout hand, each player shall share equally within the amount with the meter when the first player on a royal flush is to be paid.

Caribbean Stud Poker Rules

  1. Players choosing to experience for the progressive payout are responsible for ensuring that the indicator light with the acceptor device is properly illuminated.
  2. Players may not exchange or communicate information regarding their hands. Any violation will result within a dead hand and forfeiture of all wagers.
  3. If a player is dealt an incorrect number of cards, that player's hand shall be void. 5. Each player who makes a "bet" wager shall be responsible for his or her own hand and no other person other than the dealer may touch the cards of that player.
